Email Content to introduce public users the new Public Portal

We’re excited to announce that our new permitting platform [INSERT PLATFORM NAME] is now live. It’s designed with you in mind, providing an intuitive, accessible, and empowering application experience. The initial updates include a new home page, a permit picker tool, a simple process for logging in and resetting your password, and a new account dashboard.

Early next year, we will release a second update that makes it easier to submit applications and take the next steps. When you first access [INSERT PLATFORM NAME], you can log in using your previous (ACA) credentials, but you may need to reset your password. We look forward to any feedback you’d like to provide.

Instructions for public users

Find your way around

Upon login, you will see a home page, with a few basic elements that are common to every page in the site.

  • Profile menu: The Profile menu contains links to manage your account and to our help documentation.

  • Navigation: The Navigation includes links to the homepage, dashboard, and all applications, as well as links to other pages the agency has added.

  • Footer: The footer displays at the bottom of the site and contains some basic information about the site, such as the copyright.

In addition, the home page includes a set of action cards, or tiles, that will direct you to various links that the agency has identified as important.

The Public Portal is fully responsive on mobile and tablet, and is WCAG 2.2 AA compliant. Assistive technologies are supported.
