OpenCounter buttons
The OpenCounter interface creates a step-by-step guide for users that will walk them through workflows for applications, licenses, and other common tasks. This feature differs from the action cards by providing a guided tour for public users and making the online workflow process as painless as possible. Similar to action cards, you can create OpenCounter buttons to:

Highlight popular permits or licenses

Direct the user to common tasks

Provide FAQs or links to pages on other websites
The OpenCounter section of the Home page screen has two sections:

Shown on home page: These are buttons that are currently displaying on the home page for public users. You can reorder and edit these buttons, as needed. You cannot have more than four buttons displayed at one time or fewer than one.

Not shown on home page: These buttons are created and configured but not currently displaying on the home page for public users. You can edit and delete these buttons, as needed. You can also create a new button from this section.
Tip: Use the Search bar to navigate this section if you have a large number of undisplayed buttons.
Each OpenCounter button section list displays the following information:

| Drag handle icon | Use this icon to reorder your buttons on the user home page. This icon only displays for buttons in the Shown on home page section. |
| Show on home page | Use this check box to display this button on the user home page. Clear this check to remove a button from displaying on the user home page. |
| Button title | This is the title that displays on the home page for public users. |
| Icon |
The icon associated with this button. Can also have None as a value. |
| Color | The color the button is displaying on the user home page. |
