Set dashboard preferences

If you have access to multiple modules (such as Licensing and Enforcement) and/or multiple consoles, you can define your default workspace and switch your displayed modules and consoles from the Preference management page. After setting preferences, the selected default module and console selections display each time you log in.

To set user preferences

1. On the main menu bar, select the Launchpad icon .

2. Select the All pages tab.

3. In the Filter pages field, type preference to filter the list of pages.

4. Select Preference management.

5. Do any of the following:

   • To display only records associated with a specific view, select the desired option from the Default module list.

   • To display only the pages and module associated with a specific view, select the desired option from the Default console list.

   • To have Civic Platform automatically close the oldest space on the main menu bar when you add a space beyond the limit set by your agency, select the Automatically close the oldest space check box. Only unpinned spaces are automatically closed.

6. Select Submit.
