Advanced search on a map

Use the Accela GIS Advanced search to locate Accela objects (such as, inspections and records) and GIS features. The GIS Features available for search include map layers such as assets, easements, streets, zoning details, and so forth.

Note: GIS search results are accumulated. The recent search results are appended to the existing search results. You can select all or some of the accumulated results.

To use Accela GIS advanced search

From the Map dashboard, select Advanced search > Type.
Select the type of search you want to perform.
Enter search criteria into the search fields as necessary.
Select Show results.
Notes:
- When searching for records, search results are limited to 50 records.
- Search results are displayed on the Results tab of the Advanced search panel and are also plotted on the map.
- From the search Results tab, you can perform a variety of actions on the objects returned in a search. See Map actions for more information.
