Create, associate, and remove asset contacts
You can manage contacts associated with an asset using the Contact tab. This allows you to easily track the individuals related to specific assets.
Contacts can be associated with one or multiple assets. Similarly, an asset can be associated with one or multiple contacts.
You can create a contact and associate it with an asset.
To create an asset contact

On the Assets page, find and open the asset record you want to update.

Select the Contact tab.

Select New.

Complete any fields that display.

Select Submit.
Note: Civic Platform creates the contact, associates it with the selected asset, and displays it on the Contact list page.
You can look up a contact in the Civic Platform reference database and create an association between a contact and an asset.
To associate a contact with an asset

On the Assets page, find and open the asset record you want to update.

Select the Contact tab.

Select Look up.

Complete any fields that display.

Select the contact you want to associate with the asset.

Select Select.
You can remove the association between a contact and an asset.
To remove the association between a contact and an asset

On the Assets page, find and open the asset record you want to update.

Select the Contact tab.

Select the contact you want to remove from the asset.

Select Delete.
