Push scripts from Civic Platform into the repository

To push scripts into a repository from the Civic Platform, the destination repository must be empty. When the EMSE Tool opens, if the repository is empty it will prompt to push the scripts into the repository with the following message:

Press OK to push the scripts from Civic Platform into the repository. When completed, the EMSE Tool will display a success message.

Note: By default, both GitHub and GitLab use ‘main’ as the name of the default branch. Currently, the EMSE Tool will only use the ‘master’ name for the default branch and when the EMSE Tool pushes from the Civic Platform into the repository it will create a ‘master’ branch.

If you aren’t pushing from the Civic Platform into the repository, be sure to create a ‘master’ branch from the ‘main’ branch for the EMSE Tool to use.
