Print a map
To print a map, select the Print icon
. Printing a map will export the map to the selected format. When ready to print, select the exported file and use your browser's print option to print the map. The following table describes the print options:

| Title | Enter a title for the printed map. This map title appears at the top of the page. The maximum number of characters for this field is 85. |
| Page setup | Select the page size and orientation. |
| File format | Select the file format to export to: PDF, EPS, JPG, PNG 8-bit, PNG 32-bit, SVG, and SVGZ (compressed). |
| Advanced > Map scale/extent | Choose either the current map scale, default map extent, or a forced scale. Select the Current scale link to determine the current map scale number and adjust it as needed. |
| Advanced > Author/Copyright | Enter the author and copyright information. |
| Advanced > DPI | The DPI (dots per inch) number to specify the print resolution. |
| Advanced > Include legend | Select this check box to include the map's legend in the print file. |
| Map only | This tab exports the default map settings. You still need to complete the File name, File format, and Width/Height fields, as well as the Advanced options fields (if desired) for the Map only tab. |
