Download attachments
You can download record attachments to your computer as needed. When a file is downloaded, that copy of the file is no longer linked to the application server. You cannot use document review functionality, and you cannot save changes to the server.
If you make changes to a downloaded file, you can reattach the file to the record in Civic Platform. See Attach files for more information.
To download an attachment

Open a record and select the Documents tab.

Select Actions > Download in the row of the document to download.
Important: When a user downloads the attachment the File name is the name that displays as the download. Ensure that your File name and Document name are consistent when uploading a document to avoid confusion when downloading the attachment. -
To download multiple documents, select the check box next to the documents and select Manage Documents > Download.
The Civic Platform administrator must grant Upload and Download permissions to enable multiple document downloads.
