Create, view, and delete asset ratings

After inspecting an asset, the inspector can create a rating for the asset.

To create an asset rating

1. From the Assets page, find and open the desired record.

2. Select the Ratings tab.

3. Select New.

4. Complete the required fields and others as needed.

   Field	Description
   Rating type	The rating type your administrator associates with the asset.
   Rating value	The value for the selected rating type.
   Department	The department responsible for rating the selected asset.
   Inspector	The inspector responsible for rating the selected asset.
   Rating date	The date of the asset rating.
   Rating time	The time of the asset rating.

5. Select Submit.

You can generate a chart to represent the rating and rating values instead of a list view. This is useful if you need to track the pattern of change in the rating values over a period of time. Use the Chart button to create a chart for the rating values using the data in from the same rating type you selected. After viewing, you can close the chart by selecting the Close button.

To view a chart for rating values

1. From the Assets page, find and open the desired record.

2. Select the Ratings tab.

3. In the Rating type column, select the desired link.

4. Select a rating value and select Chart.

You can delete rating values as needed.

To delete rating values

1. From the Assets page, find and open the desired record.

2. Select the Ratings tab.

3. Select a Rating type link.

4. Select a rating value and select Delete.
