Enable close-match searches for contacts
Configure contact match criteria to enable close-match searching in Civic Platform, Citizen Access, and Accela Mobile.
Close-match searching enables users to locate reference contacts that do not exactly match their search criteria, but come close. The standard search function returns reference contacts that exactly match user’s search criteria. In some cases, users might find that the search results do not include the contacts they intend to find, for example, if the user mistypes the criteria. In that case, users can select the Close matches button to locate reference contacts that do not exactly match their search criteria, but come close.
