Add or remove an asset type with existing batch jobs
You can add or remove asset types from Asset/GIS Sync batch files. Asset types allow you to broaden the number of asset records that update with GIS information when the batch job runs.
Add asset types to an existing Asset/GIS Sync batch job .
To add an asset type to an existing asset/GIS sync batch job

From the Administration menu, select System tools > Batch engine.

Select the name of the batch job you want to edit.

Select the Asset type tab.

Select Look up.

Complete one or more of the following fields for your desired search:
Note: If you do not specify any search fields and select Submit, the system returns all available asset types.Field Action Asset group Select the asset group. Asset type Enter an asset type. Class type Select an asset class type from this menu. Template ID Select a template from this menu. Asset type code Enter an asset type code. Asset ID mask Select the default prefix for the asset type you are looking for.
Description Enter keywords that may appear in the description field of the asset type you are searching for. Comments Enter keywords that may appear in the comment section of the asset type record. Record status Select Active, Inactive, or All. Master inventory in GIS This read-only option indicates whether the asset type is present in the inventory of all mapped objects in Accela GIS. GIS service The GIS service that stores the information about GIS objects. The GIS services listed on the list are configured in Accela GIS administration site.
GIS layer The GIS layer on the selected GIS service that stores the GIS objects. In Esri ArcMap, a feature class is represented visually on the map as a layer. GIS ID for asset ID Select the GIS ID associated with the asset type for the asset type for which you are searching.
Note: If you specify a related table, this list is populated with the fields in the table. Otherwise, this list is populated with the fields in the GIS layer (feature class).Asset type as resource Select Yes or No. Related table Select a related table. -
Select Submit.

Select the asset type(s) you want to add to the batch job.

Select Select.
You can remove unwanted or obsolete asset types for existing batch jobs.
To remove an asset type from an existing asset/GIS sync batch job

From the Administration menu, select System tools > Batch engine.

Select the name of the batch job you want to edit.

Select the Asset type tab.

Select the check box next to the asset type(s) you want to remove from the batch job.

Select Delete.
